When I accomplish something, it makes me feel great! Before I do a piece, I say to myself, I can do it and the only thing that's stopping me, is if I don't try. I like ZOOM!, because I can express my feelings and because I can be open with them. ZOOM! feels like a big family.

When I drum, my mind feels empty, and my heart feels free. I feel happy to be drumming side by side, with my brother. ZOOM! Is a great way to relieve your mind.

When I perform I feel excited and my heart starts pumping really fast. At the end of the show I feel like I have accomplished my goal. I like drumming because it is fun and exciting. I also like drumming because I can share my ideas and perform them.

I enjoy playing the drums because all of my stress goes away. Not only that, but after doing my work in class, I get to relax and be with my friends. I have always been musical, but this would have to be my favorite instrument to play. I also love the way ZOOM! works as a team to create wonderful pieces of music. I now can't imagine how it would be to not be in ZOOM!.

I love ZOOM! because I am always learning something new. The drum pieces are from different countries and now I am curious about those particular countries. I would love to go and visit and learn their different ways of making music.

ZOOM! is awesome. Ever since I first saw a ZOOM! performance, I've wanted to be in it because it wasn't something you see people do everyday, and it makes the other 29 kids and me really unique.

I’ve been around drums and other instruments all of my life because my parents play taiko(Japanese drum). I like Zoom because we get to make up our own pieces like Ularoo and the Grand Canyon piece. It’s great that we all get a chance to contribute our thoughts to the group and getting to play different instruments. I think that it’s really fun and so far I’m having a great time. I’m very happy to be a part of the group and grateful to be given such a great opportunity.

I like being in ZOOM! mostly because it's fun. In ZOOM! you could learn a lot about being a good person and making friends. ZOOM! will help me in the future with my self-esteem. ZOOM! is really cool because you could hit the drum as hard as you want and no one will be mad at you.

I like ZOOM! because you are free to connect with everyone and yourself. I like music because I can express myself any way I want to and drumming lets me do that. I also get to make any kind of sound I want.

When I perform I feel happy at the end of the show and I feel it was worth all the night rehearsals. I love ZOOM! because the people in the group are so fun to talk to.

When I perform I feel excited and nervous. I feel proud when we put on the performance and excited when we are about to perform. When I am done with a show I feel proud and wonderful. I like ZOOM! because I like to drum and perform.

I like ZOOM! because it's a good way to meet new friends. I like drumming because it has a good history and it makes you feel good. I didn't have many friends before I was in ZOOM!, but when I started, I made two new friends. ZOOM! makes me feel really good.
